Improperly used Space Heaters may Spark Fires in Homes

Space Heaters may be a necessity for some households during winter months but improper use of these type of heaters can result to tragic accidents. Fire Sprinkler  

KSHB shared some chilling statistics.

Firefighters are warning people to be careful when it comes to space heaters. The National Fire Protection Association says 79 percent of home heating fire deaths involved space heaters.”

12 News warns space heater users that they should use these contraptions with utmost caution. Firefighters   

“Consumer Reports says another great feature to look for on a space heater is a timer. Not only can that save you money on energy bills, but it also offers another layer of safety protection in case you forget to turn the heater off. Both the Vornado and Dyson heaters have timers.
