Molds are extremely dangerous especially to young kids, that is why every household or commercial structure should do what it takes to avoid this, and address mold infestation, if and when something like that is happening already.

In Texas for instance, firefighters have been displaced due to mold infestation in their firehouse. Firerescue1.com shared that infestation had firefighters go to their homes overnight because their sleeping quarters have been affected by mold growth.

“Inside of Station 75 is locked up and firefighters can no longer sleep in the building at night. Deputy Chief Scott Schoonover said mold shut down the station a few weeks ago. Instead, firefighters have to go home and hope nothing happens overnight. A temporary building is expected to arrive in two weeks, but it cannot be put to use until it has electricity, according to the report”

Displaced because of Mold Infestation

In Louisville, government workers have been displaced as well by mold growth. Insiderlouisville.com shared at least 300 workers were relocated from their contaminated building.
“Moving employees from the Urban Government Center on Barret Avenue has been in the works since the building was found to have mold, creating a health hazard for workers and an environmental concern. The city workers also will be leaving the old Baptist Hospital, which is located next door. Metro expects the move to begin in the fall.”

The contractors specifically check the AC units because the units’ especially cold surfaces attract condensation, giving rise to mold…”
